Our Vision
At, MJSHTA our vision is to provide human trafficking prevention and awareness education to law enforcement, schools, companies, churches, and the greater community. Our goal is to "train the trainer" to increase the number of individuals trained.
We are also expert consultants for human trafficking and related cases.

The institute's focus is on creating and/or reforming laws and policies to provide greater awareness and protection against human trafficking and related crimes using a victim centered approach and the best technology.
ABOUT tHE pRESIDENT
Dr. Tamara Dawes, J.S.D. is the president & founder of M J Scarlett Human Trafficking Academy, and M J Scarlett Foundation Inc. She is a graduate of St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law where she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Doctorate of Law (J.S.D) degrees in Intercultural Human Rights.
